Phases

Our treatment model is comprised of three phases designed to guide women through early recovery with a choice of tools they need for sustained, long-term recovery.  Our Case Managers and Counselors collaborate to provide a comprehensive, balanced plan for each individual. Each Phase builds upon the previous one, allowing for progressive learning and greater independence.

Phase I

  • Intensive Outpatient
  • Participating in our Social Living Program: learning about boundaries, accountability, fitting in, and life skills
  • Experiential therapies designed to build a healthy lifestyle and explore interests
  • Individual and group therapy: our therapists provide individual and group evidence-based treatment
  • Family Program: Opportunities to build relationships and connect in new and important ways
  • Exercise: Healthy, mindful movement – yoga, walks on the beach, dancing, cross country skiing and hiking
  • Attend daily 12-step meetings: Portland, ME is known for its extensive recovery community
